High School Mathematics Tuition in Brisbane
Falcon Maths is a boutique mathematics tutoring service that provides high-quality tuition by an experienced mathematics teacher in a small class setting. We cater specifically to students studying the following courses:
Year 11 - 12 Mathematical Methods
Mathematical Methods is essentially a calculus course with some statistics and probability thrown in. The course requires a strong foundation in algebra and, due to its linear nature (new content building on previous content), students that initially underestimate the amount of work required to be successful in the subject can find it difficult to catch up.
Year 11 - 12 Specialist Mathematics
Specialist Mathematics is a course that touches on many different (even disparate) topics within mathematics. Each topic in itself is interesting, however, due to the breadth of different content covered, students can sometimes feel overwhelmed and unable to see the forest for the trees so to speak.
Year 7 - 10 Enrichment Mathematics
Students in this class will follow the National Curriculum for their year level supplemented with enrichment material. Students in grade 10 will also work through the optional content for post-Year 10 mathematics pathways as specified by the National Curriculum in order to prepare them for Mathematics Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics in years 11 and 12.

TUESDAY afternoons during the school term
Cost:
$600 for a 10-week term payable at the beginning of the term.
$30 per workbook that students will be using during class and for their homework. The one workbook will last the entire year.

THURSDAY afternoons during the school term
Cost:
$600 for a 10-week term payable at the beginning of the term.
$30 per workbook that students will be using during class and for their homework. One workbook covers one unit (six months worth of content) for one subject.
